Recurring Donations

Your monthly donation can make a real difference in the life of a scholar and opens doors to opportunities they are otherwise unable to afford. Consider being the key to their bright futures and signing up for recurring donations HERE.

Thank You for your interest in supporting the Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation. There are several ways you can make a difference in the lives of these Navy dependents. You can either donate to the Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation online using  GiveDirect or you can mail your donation to the Foundation.

MEMORIALS AND HONORARIUMS

Celebrate the life of a family member or friend by making a donation in their memory or honor.  Donations can be made by simply noting the name on your donation.  Once your gift is received, the Foundation will send a note to the honoree or family acknowledging your gift.  

Each donation of $4,600 or more will be recognized as a one year Honorary or Memorial scholarship named as the DONOR desires. We also accept larger donations for multi-year scholarships awards, please contact our office (757) 228-3314 for more information.

MATCHING GIFT COMPANIES

Matching gifts are a fantastic way to double down on your donation. 65% of large companies in the United States match employees’ donations. Most companies have a 1:1 matching gift ratio but many match up to 4:1. By enrolling in your company’s matching gifts program, you can make the most of your WOASF donation, and create even more scholarships for Navy aviation dependents.

If you donate online through Give Direct, you can automatically enroll for a matching gift. If donating by mail, please visit your human resources office for more information on your company's matching gift program.  Click here for known companies that match gifts.

Planned Giving

Whether it be Qualified Charitable Distributions (QCD), Wills, Trusts , Life Insurance, Donor Advised Funds, or Stock Transfers, please consider including WOASF in your financial planning.

VEHICLE DONATION PROGRAM

Donating your unwanted vehicle to a worthy cause may sound like a good idea, but where do you start? The Vehicle Donation Program offers a way to turn your unwanted car, boat, motorcycle or even an airplane into a tax deductible donation benefiting the Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation with clear instructions and a minimum of hassle. Wings Over America Scholarship Foundation is a non-stock corporation organized under the laws of Virginia and tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. A financial statement is available upon written request from the Office of Consumer Affairs, Commonwealth of Virginia. Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law.
